Here we go!

You can now see for yourselves from the final schedule that we have “picked six” a few times over for the sixth annual New Art Film Festival! Visit with us and watch the films of our communities a week from today on Sunday, October 4, 2015, in a free show at the Art Theater Co-op, 126 W. Church St., in downtown Champaign, Illinois.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. that evening, after which three sets featuring 2 previews and 38 pieces total will begin promptly at 5:30, 7, and 9 p.m., and the NAFF will conclude a little past 11 p.m. Age appropriateness for the blocks, per our humble opinion, is 13+ for the first set and 18+ for the second and third sets. Please also look for our roving photographer Dora Valkanova if you would like to be added to the NAFF photo album, or take your own just like NAFF veteran Andy Due (above right) of Charleston has shared with us!

We will write one or two more times on the NAFF ‘blog between now and showtime with further details for you, discerning viewers of Champaign-Urbana! Please keep tabs on our Facebook page for hot news and press coverage; as well, feel free to share this event with your friends and collaborators!

Impatiently awaiting the opening titles by Shatterglass Studios to hit that screen in seven days’ time…
